Include your device and iOS version if something is broken, and the approximate date and time it happened. We usually reply within two business days. This inbox is read by the person who builds the app, not a queue.
Open AirwayWise, go to Settings, and tap Manage or cancel subscription. That opens your Apple Account subscription page directly. You can also get there without the app: on your iPhone, open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then AirwayWise.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing you logged is deleted when Pro ends, and your history and CSV export keep working.
Cancel any time before the last day of the trial and you are not charged. Apple also emails you before a trial converts. If you cancel during a trial you lose the remaining trial days immediately, which is Apple's rule, not ours.
Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple, not by us, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you tell us what went wrong at the same time, we will fix the thing that caused it.
Open Settings inside AirwayWise and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed into the App Store with the same Apple Account you bought with. If it still does not unlock, email us; that is a bug and we want to know about it.
If you know you want to keep training, the one-time lifetime option is usually the cheapest way to own it, and it is deliberately shown next to the yearly plan rather than hidden behind a cancellation flow. Prices and lengths are always shown in the app before you buy anything.
You run one short session a day. Sessions take about five to twelve minutes and combine exercises across four tracks: tongue, soft palate and throat, cheek and lips, and jaw and breathing. The ladder runs eight progressive weeks. You move up by completing sessions, never by the calendar rolling over, so a week you skipped does not silently promote you.
Because these are muscles, and muscles detrain. Training an area for eight weeks and then stopping entirely tends to give the gains back over the following weeks, which is well documented for exercise generally and is the reason a program with an end date still needs an after. So week nine onward is a rotation of six full sessions, varied so it does not become the same handful of easy drills forever.
This is also the honest answer to a fair question people ask about apps in this category: why charge for a year when the program is eight weeks? The year is the maintenance, not the build. If you would rather not pay yearly at all, take the one-time lifetime option instead.
We will not put a number on that, because it would be a number we made up. What we can tell you is that the published protocols this content is drawn from ran for weeks rather than days, that consistency matters more than intensity, and that the app plots your own ratings against the days you actually trained so you can judge it for yourself instead of taking our word for it.
No. After a long gap the app hands you an easier session to come back on, but the level you earned is still yours and nothing is taken away. Finishing the eased session carries on from where you were.
Each one quotes the published training protocols it was drawn from, word for word, on the exercise itself. Any candidate exercise that could not be sourced to two separate published protocols was cut rather than invented, which is why the library is the size it is instead of a rounder number.
Yes, with Pro. Custom workouts are yours to arrange. They count toward your history and your streak, but they do not move you up the eight week ladder, because the ladder is a specific progression and a workout you wrote is not part of it.
Check that notifications are allowed for AirwayWise in the iPhone Settings app. If permission was declined, the Reminders section inside AirwayWise says so plainly and offers a button that takes you straight there. Also check that Focus or Sleep mode is not silencing the time you chose.
No. Changing the time replaces the existing reminder rather than adding a second one. If you ever get two, that is a bug worth an email.
It runs the same session with haptic cueing, so you get paced without holding your phone or needing sound. You can start on either device. Pausing, resuming and ending early all carry across, and a session that both devices showed is only counted once.
The phone owns the session, so the two need to be in range of each other. Bring them together, make sure both apps are installed and updated to the same version, and try again. If it persists, restarting the watch app clears most of it.
No, and you cannot make one. There is no account, no sign-in and no server. See the privacy page for the detail.
Settings, then Session history and export, or the export button on the Progress tab. You get plain CSV files for your sessions and your check-ins that open in any spreadsheet. Export costs nothing, works forever, and does not require Pro. Your data is not a hostage.
No. In this version your data stays on the device it was recorded on. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. If you want a copy on another device, use the CSV export.
Delete the app. Because nothing is stored anywhere but on your device, that removes all of your AirwayWise data.
AirwayWise is an exercise trainer and a general wellness tool. It is not medical care and it is not a substitute for seeing a clinician.
Loud snoring with gasping, choking or pauses in breathing can be sleep apnea, a medical condition this app is not built for and cannot identify, so talk to a doctor about it.
It also, deliberately, does not record audio while you sleep, does not score or detect snoring for you, does not connect to any hardware, and does not track your sleep. It asks you for a rating instead, because a rating you gave is honest and a detection we invented would not be.
Stop any exercise that causes pain, and speak to a clinician before starting if you have a jaw, throat or dental condition, or if you are recovering from surgery in that area.
Email vikramj@gmail.com with what you did, what happened, what you expected, your device and your iOS version. Bugs reported this way get fixed and shipped; there is no support tier and no ticket to escalate.
